NEWS: INFOAXE - SEARCH THROUGH VISITED SITES
December 5th, 2008
Did it ever happened to you wanted to come back to some extremely interesting / important webpage you visted and you did not add it to your bookmarks? Many times? Definetely too many. Now it looks like there is something for you - InfoAxe, the plug-in geared towards searching through the history of visited sites.
To start using InfoAxe you have to download its toolbar, after adding it to your browser you can start saving visited sites. In InfoAxe it is the user who decides when browsing pages are being saved, or rather indexed - you can do it by clicking on Record on/Record off buttons. This option can be used when we do not want the record to follow, or it can help to improve / organize the search results for the query conducted in specific periods of time.
While doing a query we can see the InfoAxe window, that is displayed at Google’s search results page - it contains the sites we previously visisted, after clicking on them we can use the option named - pivot, which works as time axis for our visited sites - we can track back the pages visited after or before particular page.

After selecting Lookpicking instead of default Google search bar, we start with typing in the box. First we can type the keyword that avails us to chose the search engine we want - like video for YouTube or first letters of name of particular search engine to see the suggestions. NEWS: MASHLOGIC - ANOTHER SEMANTIC PLUG-IN
October 23rd, 2008
Last week I wrote about Headup, now it’s time to introduce to you Mashlogic, new plugin that provides us information gathered from the Web with short few-sentence description. It works for poeple’s names, companies (it shows also stock resulults), vocabulary (only long and hard words) and expressions (like for example global warming). All terms that some information is available for are undeelined with light blue dotted line. It has also options such as metric and currency converter, what makes it really impressive tool.
Here is a preview of how does it work, on example of news.google.com, click here or watch it below:
