NEWS: FOREIGN SEARCH

November 1st, 2008

ExpatFinder is a new innitiative by Interexpat. It is a search engine destined to provide results concerning the living or moving to another country. Keywords can be refined by selecting country, we are interesting in, from the list.

Search phrases must be quite precise otherwise we will get links for general purpose sites, like State’s ones. We can embed ExpatFinder search box on our site or blog and we can also add it to our browser’s search engine.

In my opinion, it would by useful to add to list of countries, geographic regions, like for exmple Scandinavia, Caucasus, Latin America and other.

We just have to fill in the parts of word we remember, a letters we suspect that may appear in the word. We can also type in the meaning of the word and the length of the word (it’s a great tool for crosswords fanatics). After filling in all we know about the missing word on the right we will see words that match our search phrases. It’s fresh, simple and decent! It uses few dictionaries and is limited only to english.
